Washington Township Boards
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS
They meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the municipal office meeting room at 7:00 PM. Other meetings are held as needed.
Township Supervisors are Wayne Allen, Daniel P Huff Jr., and William E Ball Ill.
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION is comprised of five (5) community members appointed by the Supervisors for a (4) four-year term. The board has the responsibility of reviewing proposed subdivisions within the township and recommending approval or rejection to the Board of Supervisors. The Planning Commission Board holds their monthly meeting on the second Monday of each month at the municipal office meeting room at 7:00 PM. Note if nothing is on the agenda the meeting will not be held.
Planning Commission Board Members are Dale Yarasavage, Mary Sayre, Brian Bartels, Darrin Chesner, and vacancy. Planning Solicitor: Atty. Edward Neyhart.
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD consists of five (5) community members appointed by the Supervisors for a (3) three-year term. Their primary duty is to hear cases on individual requests pertaining to any possible deviation to the Zoning Ordinance. This includes Variances, Special Exceptions, and interpretation of the Zoning Officer. The Zoning Hearing Board meets on the first Monday of April, August, and November at the municipal office meeting room at 7:00 PM. Hearings are scheduled on an as needed basis.
Zoning Hearing Board Members are Tom Stark, Gary Tewksbury, Bill Jaquish, William Miner Jr., and Mike Loy. Zoning Enforcement Officer Billy Ball IV, and Zoning Solicitor is Atty. Edward Neyhart.
WESTGATE WATER AND SEWER MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY is comprised of (5) five community members appointed by the Supervisor for a (5) Five-year term. The board's responsibility is to review the needs of the water and sewer plant. The Board meets on the second Monday of each month at the municipal office meeting room at 1o AM.
Westgate Water & Sewer Municipal Authority board members are Edward Coleman, Linda Thompson, Lorraine Bensky, Lora Seidel, and vacancy. Atty Antony Litwin is the solicitor of record.
